Our cats loooove the outdoors so we let them spend time on the porch to take in the fresh air and eat some of the catgrass we have growing outside. However lately it has been hard to give them the time they need. Cold weather and pollen have made us unwilling to keep opening and closing the door all day.   Cats were never domesticated. They just realized life was easier if they had human companions, who protect them and feed them.      Our journey to the ultimate litter box began with our first cat Momo, who loves to dig and dig and dramatically jump out of the litter box. All of which was causing a small beach to form around the litter box. We tried using covered litter boxes, but one of our other cats made it very clear she was not a fan.
