Ten Ways to Keep Your Cat Fit & Healthy

Exercise is crucial. A 2016 clinical study found that 58.9% of cats in American are overweight! Maybe most people agree with my fiancee when he says "If they are fat, they wont run away," but I think there are better ways to keep your cats at home. As a cat parent you should try and spend between 15-30 minutes a day, broken up into smaller sessions, helping your cat burn energy and stimulate their senses. There are many ways to get your cat to engage in activity, and no one knows your cat better than you do, so get creative. Here are ten suggestions for ways to get your cat moving.

1. Strings
Few things catch a cats attention as easily as strings do. String wands are incredibly fun and easy for everyone to use. You can use any sort of string you find too; shoe laces, ribbons and even loose clothing strings will entertain your cat.
